Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) released the O Level results for the May–June 2025 session on Tuesday, August 19, ending weeks of anticipation for students across Pakistan.
More than 100,000 candidates from over 700 schools appeared in Cambridge exams this year, including O Levels, IGCSEs, and A Levels, marking an important milestone for students planning higher education pathways.
The results followed the release of A Level results earlier this month, giving students a clear picture of their academic performance and enabling them to plan university applications accordingly.
Many students expressed joy and relief over their achievements. One O Level candidate shared, “I am happy with 3A*s, 3As, and 2Bs,” reflecting the satisfaction of overcoming a challenging academic year.
This year, grade thresholds in English and Mathematics were higher than previous sessions, adding extra pressure on students but making their success even more rewarding and encouraging for future studies.
The announcement has triggered celebrations across schools and homes, with parents and teachers congratulating students for their dedication, hard work, and resilience during a year of rigorous examinations and assessments.
