BUNER – Police said that two suspects – in connection with the murder of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Soran Singh – were arrested from Buner district, a private TV channel reported on Saturday.
According to police officials, Singh, a doctor by profession and member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, was returning home after walk when he was targeted by unidentified gunmen on motorbikes. The minority affairs minister died instantly.
A banned Taliban fiction claimed the responsibility for the attack. In a press statement on Friday, PTI Chairman Imran Khan expressed his shock at the murder of Sardar Soran Singh and directed his party’s government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to hold an inquiry.
